Nushrat debuted in Jai Santoshi Ma (2006). She later acted in Love Sex aur Dhokha directed by Dibakar Banerjee and shot to prominence with Pyaar Ka Punchnama (2011) produced by Wide Frame Pictures. The film is story of three bachelors who find girls whom they fall in love with and the twists and turns of their love stories. Nushrat plays one of the three girls, Neha, who is in a live-in relationship with her boyfriend, Hassan Ali. She gained popularity as ‘Babu’, her nickname in the film, as called by Hassan Ali. The film became a sleeper hit of the year with newcomers in the lead. It has now achieved a cult status among the youth. Nushrat has also acted in the YRF Television Series, SEVEN. She also appeared in many TV advertisements. She once mentioned in an interview with IndiaToday,"I have never been to an acting school and was trained at auditions.” Presently Nushrat's latest feature film realesed, Luv Ranjan’s Akaashvani where she has been paired with her Pyaar Ka Punchnama co-star, Kartik Tiwari. The film has released on 18th January, 2013 and is produced by Wide Frame Films.
